Responsibilities
In this role you’ll be joining our Utilities specialist team. As the UK and Ireland’s largest specialist utility hire company, we offer a vast selection of specialist equipment and services to the utility, civil engineering and associated sectors. Our modern fleet ranges from butt fusion machines to winches, moles and electrofusion equipment to our state‐of‐the‐art pipeline commissioning equipment. Our equipment is backed by a suite of online tools that help to ensure compliance and deliver real efficiencies.
Our Apprentices are the future of our business. As an apprentice on our 27-month Apprentice programme you will learn all of the skills to become a top Equipment Fitter with a fantastic range of future career options ahead of you.
On a day‐day basis you’ll work in the Workshop in one of our Service Centres learning how to maintain and repair all Plant equipment within our range. You will learn how to find and capture machine damage and to keep accurate and comprehensive service and maintenance records. You will need to communicate effectively, ensuring that your Line Manager and Customers are kept informed as required.

Qualifications Required
Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in subjects including maths and English.
Training Provided
Level 2 Construction Equipment Maintenance Mechanic apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
