Job Description

On a day‐day basis you’ll work in the Workshop in one of our Service Centres learning how to maintain and repair all Plant equipment within our range. You will learn how to find and capture machine damage and to keep accurate and comprehensive service and maintenance records.

Responsibilities

In this role you’ll be joining our Utilities specialist team. As the UK and Ireland’s largest specialist utility hire company, we offer a vast selection of specialist equipment and services to the utility, civil engineering and associated sectors. Our modern fleet ranges from butt fusion machines to winches, moles and electrofusion equipment to our state‐of‐the‐art pipeline commissioning equipment. Qualifications Required

Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in subjects including maths and English.

Training Provided

Level 2 Construction Equipment Maintenance Mechanic apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
