An excellent opportunity to join a busy and well established pharmacy service, working as a pre-registration pharmacy dispenser. You will gain experience of working in a busy pharmacy. You will be given excellent training and support to gain a professional qualification.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to the Pharmacy Manager.

Job description:

  • An understanding of the rules, processes and regulations behind pharmaceutical service
  • Selling over the counter medicines
  • Dispensing prescriptions
  • Generating labels
  • Ordering and storing pharmaceutical stock
  • Provide information on symptoms and products to patients

Future Prospects

Possibility of full-time employment subject to successful completion of apprenticeship.

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE or numbered equivalent A-C/8-4 grades including English, maths and science

  • BTEC Level 2 certificate in Pharmaceutical Science
  • NVQ Level 2 certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills
