The pharmacy dispenser will work under the direct supervision of the pharmacist and will carry out day to day activities connected with the preparation and supply of medicines. This will involve:
- Labelling medicines
- Dispensing medicines
- Stock control
- Communicating with the public and customer service
At completion of the Apprenticeship, permanent employment could be offered if position available. If none available, contract is concluded after successful completion of qualification and the apprentice assisted to secure employment elsewhere.
This is a demanding role working in a busy Medical Practice, where a need to be able to understand and maintain important information is essential. It is important we ensure that all contacts with us are dealt with appropriately, confidentially and efficiently. Customer contact is face to face and via the phone.
5 weeks holiday a year including bank holidays. 4 hours paid study time a week.
