Job Description

We are looking for a forward-thinking and ambitious individual to join our People team in London. You will be given real responsibility from the outset whilst also earning a salary. This role will provide support across the whole UK People Team although there will be a focus on working with our Commercial group of lawyers and the Resourcing Team.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the People team with all aspects of the employee life cycle. Your main areas of responsibility will include:
  • Carrying out the administrative processes required for joiners, leavers, transfers and other changes within the Commercial group's teams
  • Assisting with job title, reporting line or departmental changes
  • Preparing reference letters including those required for new employment, mortgage, tenancy and visas
  • Completing the Commercial section of the monthly People team report
  • Scanning, filing and other ad hoc administrative duties
  • Monitoring the HR inbox and escalating queries if needed
  • Assisting with induction activities
  • Supporting recruitment for the London office, which will include:
  • Assisting with setting up job vacancies on CV mail (online recruitment system), updating CV mail as the process progresses and sending Verbal Reasoning tests to candidates
  • Assisting in arranging interviews with agents and room bookings
  • Preparing packs for technical tests and liaising with reception to ensure the correct equipment is available
  • Liaising with recruitment agents and dealing with any updates regarding candidates

Future Prospects

  • After your Business Administration apprenticeship progress into HR, Recruitment, Sales, Marketing & PR, Real Estate, Personal Assistant, Office Management, Business Management. Most of the above can be completed in a higher-level qualification

Qualifications Required

  • Five GCSE grades C - A* (4-9) or equivalent, including English and Maths

Training Provided

  • Training on the 18 month Standard Level 3 Business Administration (BA3) apprenticeship
