Job Description

Investec’s People and Organisation team is never a dull place and there is always a lot going on, the way we hire, on-board and engage our employees is key to our success.

Responsibilities

A typical day:

  • People Services
  • HR project coordination for all major HR projects often working with external software vendor providers; including task management, issue and risk tracking and provision of project reports to the HRLT
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing activities and manage resolution
  • Support HR Communications
  • Maintain HR sharepoint site
  • Learning about and processing payroll for our 4,000 employees across the UK,
  • Gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Payroll
  • Answers staff questions about salary, deductions, attendance, and time records
  • Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences
  • Handles changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles
  • Recruitment
  • Supporting recruitment diversity initiatives to help improve the bank’s diversity and support an inclusive environment
  • Creating a fantastic candidate experience through every touchpoint with Careers and On-boarding
  • Creating and maintaining recruitment and employee reporting for group leaders
  • Creating Process documentation
  • Helping keep the team organised, creating minutes/agendas/project coordination, management of tasks

After your Business Associate apprenticeship, you have the opportunity progress into HR, Recruitment, Sales, Marketing & PR, Real Estate, Personal Assistant, Office Management, Business Management. Most of the above can be completed in a higher-level qualification.

Included in qualifications: 

1. Training on the 12 month Standard Level 3 Business Associates apprenticeship.
