Job Description

Do you want to earn, learn and have fun? If so our Partner Management team have an exciting opportunity for multiple individuals to join the team as a Partner Relationship and commercial Management Apprentice..!

What will the apprentice be doing?

Working within the Partner Management team you will have the opportunity to rotate across a variety of departments learning new skills in delivering commercial solutions and relationship building. This will give you opportunity to get a true understanding of how companies focusing on supply chain operate, gaining new skills and knowledge along the way.

You will also be:

  • Supporting in the arrangement of events aimed at developing engagement with our suppliers – these come in many forms – attending trade shows and product launches, assisting with call out days and promoting incentives – all tasks that will help develop networking skills.
  • Delivering administration tasks including the management of trackers which contain details of accreditation programmes, forecasts, contact details, awards won and marketing funds.
  • Communicating both within our organisation and externally with our partners growing your relationships and ultimately your professional network.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role. All apprentices are required to complete and evidence 20% of the job learning whilst on their apprenticeship.

In addition, training will also be provided towards the L3 IT Technical Salesperson with Firebrand.

This will be delivered via online and face to face workshops whilst working on the job with support.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

‘Earn whilst you learn’ is the strapline for apprenticeships and this is true in this role. Not only will you get a yearly salary, a full-time position in one of the world’s leading IT Services companies and learn from industry experts, but you will also get all your apprenticeship training and additional qualifications for free during your apprenticeship. Whilst this is an 18-month contract and we cannot guarantee a permanent job at the end of that contract, if you work hard and push yourself in work and in the classroom then there is every chance of securing a fantastic role at the end of the apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is a fantastic route to become a future successful Partner Manager!
