What will the apprentice be doing?
Key role requirements of a Paralegal Apprentice:
- Client Administration (logging post into systems, chasing documents for file handlers, research tasks, contacting court and/or Claimant Solicitors as appropriate)
- Pre-Inception/Inception (take delivery of incoming court proceedings, conflict checks, allocating files to correct handlers, setting up matter numbers)
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Apprenticeship training:
Apprentices will be taught virtually and assessed with a mix of exams and course work. Learning takes place each week (20%) and involves either a full day of study or two blocks of 1/2 day study per week.
Work related training:
Apprentices will receive a mix of induction/new apprentice training and technical training required to do the role.
Support is provided to Apprentices from our Talent team, Managers and our dedicated Apprentice Advisors.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
All Apprentices at Plexus start on a two-year fixed term contract however by working hard and demonstrating ability, drive and commitment throughout the apprenticeship, upon successful completion you may be offered a permanent contract ensuring you have further opportunities to continue growing within this exciting organisation. Progression opportunities include promotion to Legal Assistant with further study sponsorship or the Solicitor Apprenticeship route.
