Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to support with the smooth running of the Face2Face Department, to learn the foundations of the Department, in order to then progress within it.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Main duties:

  • Data entry (Microsoft Excel spreadsheets)
  • Processing and allocating cases to the Paralegals
  • Supporting the Paralegals with their case work
  • Assisting the Director and Office Manager with day to day tasks
  • Attending Paralegal training sessions to develop Employment Law knowledge
  • Dealing with Training files (communicating with clients / making arrangements for training sessions / producing the documentation required for such sessions)

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Paralegal apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • CILEx Level 3 Diploma in Providing Legal Services
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths (if required)
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English (if required)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Apprentice > Paralegal (up to £22,000 + commission) > Lead Paralegal (up to £23,000 + commission) > Team Leader

Apprentice > Paralegal > Trainee Consultant > Consultant

Apprentice > Paralegal > Litigation Executive

These are examples of the most common progression routes, however there are also additional routes that can be followed, outside of the Peninsula Legal Services Department!

Plenty of progression opportunities within F2F! Our most recent Apprentice secured a role as a Paralegal once completed. This individual has since gone on to become a Lead Paralegal and one of our most experienced team members!
