Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join as a generalist advice apprentice. The role will be to provide advice to members of the public, via face to face, telephone, email, video call and web chat whilst working towards a Level 3 Paralegal qualification.


Duties will include:

  • Interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to allow clients to explain their problems
  • Research and explore options and implications so that clients can make informed decisions
  • Support the client where necessary by calculating, negotiating, drafting or writing letters
  • Negotiate with third parties
  • Refer internally or to other specialist agencies as appropriate
  • Ensure that all work conforms to the office standards
  • Keep up to date with legislation, policies and procedures

Qualifications Required

  • 5 GCSE'S A*-C / 9-4 including maths and English or equivalent
  • A Levels desired

Training Provided

Paralegal Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

  • Functional Skills maths and English level 2 (if GCSE A*-C (9 - 4) if not already achieved)
