What will the apprentice be doing?
This practical and ''hands-on'' four year programme includes placements around the business in: •Printed Electrical Circuit Manufacturing •Cable Manufacturing •Missile Assembly •Missile Integration •Missile Test •Calibration & Maintenance
You will be trained to solder to internationally recognised standards and achieve an Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship qualification (equivalent to a Level 3 BTEC qualification)
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Operations apprentices study for a minimum of a HNC in Electrical Engineering at Wigan & Leigh College on day release. This allows you to earn an academic and nationally recognised qualification as well as gain essential practical learning experiences within a professional and friendly workplace. You will study towards a Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. You will work within our business on rotational placements for the remainder of the week.
