What will the apprentice be doing?

The Omnichannel Development Apprenticeship will allow you learn and develop the skills to become a qualified front-end developer who is capable and experienced with HTML and CSS development of emails, web updates (via CMS systems), and uploading digital assets into Veeva (Veeva Approved Email, Closed Loop Marketing presentations).

The role will also look at the effectiveness of omni-channel interactions developed and assess their impact on customer experience alongside the campaign owner.

This will support your study towards a BSc (Hons) Digital Marketing Qualification with South Bank University allowing you to put the theory into practice.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

As an Omnichannel Apprentice you will work cross-functionally to amplify customer engagement and our customers experience with our brands and services. It’s a balance of strategic thinking and excellence in execution, partnered with technical expertise. Your main responsibilities will be:

 

·       Partnering with priority brands to strategize, design and implement omnichannel plans

·       Planning omnichannel marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising

·       Creating, updating and maintaining digital assets including emails and websites

·       Creating and delivering cross-channel campaigns on marketing automation platforms

·       Evaluating data from omnichannel marketing efforts at tactic, audience, and segment level to capture learnings for continuous improvements, optimise spend and marketing performance

·       Delivering actionable analytical insights, business recommendations and decision support for the sales, marketing, customer engagement departments and leadership teams

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The BSc (Hons) Digital Marketing Apprenticeship course has been carefully designed to fit the study of marketing firmly into a social science context and provides core marketing skills such as consumer behaviour, research and digital analytics, creative advertising and media planning, channel and customer experience management and strategic product and brand management. You'll learn to gather relevant data, use digital tools and develop digital-led strategy appropriate for the contemporary marketing world. The academic programme is 3 years, including the End-Point-Assessment (EPA). Full completion of the apprenticeship course including the EPA qualifies you with a BSc (Hons) in Digital Marketing as well as a Digital Marketer Degree Apprenticeship Certificate issued by the IFA (the Institute for Apprenticeships).

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Being part of the wider Business Operations & Support team you will learn the role(s) of the omnichannel team and develop towards these in the future. Understand the role of Business Operations & Support and how this contributes to Sanofi success as well as participating in projects and areas of stretch to take you out your comfort zone and allow you to achieve what you don’t always know you’re capable of.
