Job Description

Full time vacancy to work with children aged 12 months-5 years. Purpose built nursery in extensive outside space. Small, 30 place nursery

Responsibilities

  • To work effectively as part of a small team, providing a stimulating and caring environment for all children
  • Being a primary carer for a small group of children and liasing with other staff, parents and professionals
  • To be part of the planning process and monitor children’s progress by observation
  • Work towards updating their progress on the online learning journey system

Skills Required

  • To be able to work as part of a team and act as positive role model
  • Good communication skills with the ability to be reflect on own performance and be willing to further skills with training
  • Childcare experience

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE (or equivalent): Maths & English Grade 3-9 or D-A*

Training Provided

Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week either at Uxbridge, Harrow or Hayes Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship

Our Account Manager, industry-trained assessor and Learning Advocate support apprentices to deliver our high-quality training programmes

The Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprentice will be required to complete:

  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities
  • Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours
  • Standard and End Point Assessment
  • Other training will be provided by the employer as required to enable the fulfilment of the job role
