This is a developmental role for 2 years. The Apprentice will work towards progression into the post of Nursing Associate through successful completion of the Nursing Associate training programme which includes the attainment of a level 5 Foundation Degree equivalent qualification. You will experience a variety of care settings across North Norfolk

Responsibilities

What you will do in your working day

As a Nurse Associate you will be responsible for delivering high quality, compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (or other registered care professional dependent on setting) with a focus on promoting health and independence.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Successful completion of the programme will lead to registration as a Nurse Associate with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and guaranteed employment as a Band 4 Nurse Associate within the trust subject to successful completion of the course and satisfactory conduct.

We also offer further apprenticeships which would enable you to progress in your career to become a Registered Nurse (level 6 - 2 year degree top-up).
