What will the apprentice be doing?
As an Network Engineer Apprentice, you will be:
- Installing and configuring hardware, software, systems and networks on site
- Network equipment installation, fault finding and maintenance
- Providing 2nd Line Support and customer training
- Assisting the existing networking team with network support as well as working with the Installations Manager in planning upcoming internet-based phone system installations
- Building and provisioning tenants
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
A full training towards L3 Information Communication Technician: Support Technician will be provided. You will complete a 22 month apprenticeship which includes 25 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Following successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is hope of a permanent offer.
