Industrial and Marine Silencers Ltd are looking to recruit a Metal Fabrication Apprentice to fabricate and build a variety of acoustic products, including louvres, acoustic pods, doors and canopies.

Responsibilities

  • To work on your own, or within a small team, fabricating acoustic products from CAD drawings
  • Welding, grinding, drilling, fitting, assembly
  • Interest with MIG and TIG welding would be ideal
  • All welding including vertical, butt and fillet welding

Future Prospects

Possible full time role once the apprenticeship is complete.

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE Grade A-C (7-4) in English and Maths (or above/equivalent)

If you do not already meet the qualifications criteria, Stephenson College will invite you to take initial assessments which will indicate which level you are currently working at. These tests are not timed and completed in a relaxed environment. More details will be given upon application.
