Responsibilities

This is to apply for a HETA apprenticeship. You will be employed or sponsored by one of the client companies we work with from day one and your training/assessment will be handled by HETA (Humberside Engineering Association).

Possible duties include:

  • Maintenance and servicing of industrial equipment
  • Assembly work
  • Bench work using hand tools (hammers, files, hacksaws, etc.)
  • Maintenance and servicing of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment

Future Prospects

  • The qualifications and experience gained on this Apprenticeship will allow you to apply for further roles within this sector
  • HETA offer two-year Higher National Certificate (HNC) and one-year Higher National Diploma (HND) qualifications. HNCs/HNDs are a great route to moving onto higher-level qualifications; you can do extra studies at a later date to 'top up' a HNC/HND into a full degree.
