Job Description

QinetiQ Mechanical Engineering discipline consists of around 300 engineers, scientists and technicians, working within three distinct Groups; Naval Architecture and Maritime Engineering, Stress, Structures and Advanced Products and Design and Fabrication skill groups.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

Our teams at Boscombe down are involved in the design and modification of air platforms either to meet customer requirements or in support of trials.
The role is to be a multi-skilled technician in our EASA Pt.21G accredited manufacturing workshop.

The facilities include manual and CNC machining, sheet metal, welding, fabrication and painting.
