What will the apprentice be doing?
Here is what you can make a difference in:
- The development, building and testing of Subsea Connectors and associated products.
- Have the chance to work in a variety of departments and develop skills in manufacturing, applications and development and production engineering
- Develop your planning, delivery and quality skills by working alongside skilled professionals
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
This will be a 4 year apprenticeship where you will be put onto the Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship Standard.
Year 1 will be spent full time at college where you will achieve Level 2 qualifications in fitting using hand skills.
During Years 2 - 4 College will be on a day release basis where you will study towards the Level 3 Manufacturing Engineering Technical Certificate.
Whilst in work, the rotational element of the apprenticeship will take you through the Engineering departments of the business, to gain all the specific skills and knowledge that you and our business needs.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of your scheme we try and be as felxible as possible when disucssing what the next step in your career could be. If you have a preference for a certain area that you've had exposure in, we will try and accomodate this where possible.
