Job Description

Bloomsbury are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice with a keen interest in starting a career in the publishing industry to join their busy Marketing and Publicity department. An excellent opportunity to join a busy marketing and publicity team and learn about both disciplines.


What will the apprentice be doing?

General admin tasks Sending review copies to third parties Creating press releases Creating social media posts for various platforms Research tasks including press & social media contacts lists Design flyers & assets for marketing campaigns Attending weekly meetings Collating & circulating press coverage  Organising & distributing images from illustrated titles for press/marketing use Pitching for press coverage

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Publishing assistant

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full-time employment.
