Job Description

Bloomsbury are looking for an editorial apprentice to provide general administrative support for various elements of the editorial process, assisting the editorial teams in subjects that might include Politics, International Development, Asia, African and Middle East Studies.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Tasks in the Marketing & Publicity Departments are broad and varied. Some of these may include: General admin tasks Completing review mailings for press & social media influencers & distributing marketing materials Creating press releases, social media calendars & trade-facing materials Research tasks Designing marketing assets Attending and assisting with events and book launches e.g. librarian conferences, YALC and festivals Collating and circulating press coverage

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
