Job Description

Niftylift are looking for keen, enthusiastic and driven people, wanting to kick start their career in engineering as a Manufacturing Technician. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

  • This role requires dynamic team players with proven skills, knowledge and experience of mechanical assembly, along with hydraulic and electrical installation
  • The role requires operating to high quality/workmanship standards, within a manufacturing cell/flow line production environment
  • You will be required to perform a range of manufacturing/production operations to the required quality standard, on time and within commercial competition cost budgets (i.e. logistics/materials handling, preparation, painting, mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, fitting/fabrication, service/maintenance and development)

Qualifications Required

Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent): 

  • Grade 4 (C) or above in maths, English and Science

Desirable:

  • Level 2 Engineering Qualification
