Job Description

To ensure that we meet our operational and customer needs we are looking for enthusiastic Apprentice Manufacturing Operators to join our team. The purpose of the role is to safely produce high quality doors to the agreed specification, whilst studying at the same time for a level 2 Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

  • Strictly adhere to safe systems of work and report any defects
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards
  • Perform quality checks in accordance with ISO instructions
  • Optimise production of doors through working as part of a line team, delivering good quality doors to output targets
  • Be aware of and follow the appropriate operating procedures for the activities in which you are engaged
  • Provide information for your supervisor regarding progress of products under your control
  • Ensure that your area of operation is kept clean, tidy, and safe and continuously strive for improving standards of performance
    Be an active contributor to the department and operations objectives

Qualifications Required

  • GCSE Grades A* - D (9-3) in English and maths or equivalent
