A fantastic opportunity is available with the Brew Tea Company, who are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to learn the production and distribution processes for their unique brand of tea products.

The primary purpose of the role is to provide an opportunity and experience for the right individual to grow and develop into a skilled production operative.
A normal day-week would include:
Production Assistant
  • Complete productions of OOH and retail products according to predetermined systems and timeframes
  • Critical role to ensure production volumes are times are maintained
  • Ensure production paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely fashion – following SALSA and HACCP standards and accurately recording waste
  • Quality check on tea products and tea wear (teapots, jars etc)
  • Weights and measures are critical in the role – Attention to detail is paramount!
  • Requirement to understand dangerous goods/quality control and the packaging and labelling standards
  • Complete daily and other scheduled cleaning tasks
Order Picker
  • Prepare and hand pack orders from our website.  This includes picking, packing and hand wrapping customer orders
  • Participate in monthly stock count as required
  • Complete daily and other scheduled cleaning tasks
What you could go on to do:
  • Become a full time Production Operative
  • Potentially move to other areas of the business depending on skills and experience

Training Provided

Full apprenticeship training provided, working towards an Intermediate Level Apprenticeship gaining a Level 2 qualification in Lean Manufacturing Operative
