Salary: £18,000 - 20,000 per annum, dependant on experience + Bonus + 22 days holiday plus bank holidays + discounts and access to health and wellbeing advice and support.

Join us as an Apprentice and you’ll follow a structured 2 year programme that will create a solid foundation for a career within our Group and reward you with a nationally recognised qualification.
During your first 12 months you’ll build up technical knowledge of our product ranges and a strong understanding of our business so that you can confidently serve our customers and develop lasting and profitable relationships with them.
In year 2 you’ll focus on developing your skills as a leader. You’ll learn about different leadership techniques, allowing you to pick the one you think will work best for you. The modules you’ll cover off as part of your Apprenticeship training will include; safety culture, product ranges, customers and leadership.
Our Apprenticeships are focused on your development and factor study time into your working week, so you can achieve your qualification without affecting your work-life balance. We provide you with a fantastic support network through classroom study, 1:1 coaching, mentoring, technical and skills training to enable you to progress to a management position. Along the way, our experienced team will provide you with plenty of support to ensure you get the best out of your Apprenticeship. And it doesn’t have to end here, as we have a suite of Apprenticeship programmes that will support you to continue to develop your career with us from Branch to Boardroom.
You don’t need any previous experience to be considered for our Management Apprenticeship but for the best chance of securing yourself a place you’ll need to be someone who:
- Knows what great customer service looks like – and how to provide it
- Is able to build relationships with people at all levels and enjoys working within a sales environment
- Loves to learn, develop and expand their knowledge
- Is willing to travel, and be flexible in terms of location

Team Leader Apprenticeship Standard
Right from the start of your career with us, you’ll be supported in your development. You’ll join our Diploma in Management Programme, a 12 month Apprenticeship that will give you tools to be a great manager within our business. Over your apprenticeship, you’ll explore our safety culture, the products we sell, the services we provide and understand more about yourself and your leadership style.
Through 1:1 coaching and mentoring, you’ve got a fantastic support network that will support you, not only through the apprenticeship programme, but your day to day development.
Over the year, you will build the foundations for your future career by attending online knowledge and skills workshops that are led by our highly skilled training team, as well as our business experts. On top of all of this, you will also be gaining a nationally recognised qualification. With apprenticeships covering 90% of our roles, there’s also multiple development opportunities to fast track your career within our Group.
