Other maintenance support roles arise within the function, such as planning, logistics and safety to manage the products through their expected service life.
What Does The Apprenticeship Involve?
- Fault finding on energised systems - including extra low voltage electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics
- PLC programming support
- Planned maintenance on mechanical and control equipment
- Knowing, understanding and carrying out the basic operations of a machine in order to - operate the machine safely and manage risk , set the machine, repair the machine, using common fault finding techniques
- Knowing, understanding and carrying out the correct use of measuring equipment
- Knowing, understanding and carrying out the correct use of gauges and recording SPC data for quality purposes

A great job after completion. Around 95% of our apprentices choose to stay with us and go on to have really successful careers. You can choose to go for promotion and progression or continue learning in the role you’ve moved into.
When you successfully complete your Apprenticeship, we will help you to move into a suitable role, subject to the requirements of the business.

The process consists of five stages:
- An online application
- Online testing
- Video interview
- Application review
- Qualification, medical and security checks
The Apprentice recruitment window opened on the 1 November 2020 and remains open until 28 February 2021.
Depending on fulfilment of the requirements, the process can take until July/August to complete and final offers are made.
