What will the apprentice be doing?

Twiflex is a global leader in innovative braking solutions designed to provide years of reliable performance. Twiflex specializes in the design, manufacture and supply of advanced braking technologies for industrial applications. Twiflex offers the largest range of pneumatically-, hydraulically-, and mechanically-applied industrial disc brake calipers in the world! This is an ideal opportunity to start your Engineering career with a global leader in power transmission! Throughout your time at Twiflex, your main role will be to spend periods of time in all areas of the site working along side a skilled Maintenance Engineer to learn the principle of each process. Working as part of the Maintenance Team, you will ensure that all plant equipment and machinery on site operates efficiently and safely, ensuring the minimum amount of downtime. You will ensure safe working at all times, with a right first time attitude while ensuring value for money on all repairs and services.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

To become a fully skilled Maintenance Engineer, progressing through the company for a long and successful career with Twiflex
