What will the apprentice be doing?
·Work with the Maintenance Team Members to carry out maintenance tasks across Trust schools, tasks will be identified by the Trust Health and Safety Manager or part of the preventative maintenance programme.
·Work as a team on major construction projects and estate improvements.
·Carry out tasks in support of Wymondham College estates staff and other SET schools that are directly related to aspects of the building trade.
·Carry out PAT testing (once trained) across all Trust schools
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The Maintenance Apprentice will be expected to complete a Level 2 Property Maintenance apprenticeship or a level 2/ 3 apprenticeship in Carpentry. There is scope for a successful applicant to complete further qualifications.
