What will the apprentice be doing?

As a Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (MOET), you will work on various types of plant and equipment commonly found throughout the Engineering Industry sectors.

Key duties/responsibilities

Electrical routine maintenance of conventional/radiological plant/systems
Breakdown/fault finding and repair of all plant and systems
Build/commission and test of new installations

Length of training – 48 months
Travel, accommodation and meal allowance included for block release if applicable.
Year 1 – Term time attendance at City of Bristol College, Bristol

Year 2 – Block release at City of Bristol College, Bristol, remainder of time at site

Year 3 & 4 – 100% of time based at site
