What will the apprentice be doing?
Opportunities have arisen to join an exciting and developing visual communications company as one of 4 Print Machine Operatives.
By assisting with various tasks including:
- Cutting/creasing of printed and plain materials
- Following a QC process
- Setting and managing jobs from start to finish
- Lean manufacturing, producing work as efficiently as possible
- Reporting any variances to the management team
- Adhering to Health and Safety policy
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Apprenticeship Standard for Print Technician/Print Operative
- Functional Skills in Maths and English (Where required)
- One day per month study offsite workplace with Learn2print
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Full time position within the company is available to the right candidate on completion of the Apprenticeship programme.
