Job Description

We've always been innovators, leading the way in printing Litho on to plastics and digital printing. We were the first in our field to invest in an ultra large (XXL) format UV Litho press and the only company in our sector worldwide to operate two of these giant machines.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Opportunities have arisen to join an exciting and developing visual communications company as one of 4 Print Machine Operatives.

By assisting with various tasks including:


  • Cutting/creasing of printed and plain materials
  • Following a QC process
  • Setting and managing jobs from start to finish
  • Lean manufacturing, producing work as efficiently as possible
  • Reporting any variances to the management team
  • Adhering to Health and Safety policy

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Apprenticeship Standard for Print Technician/Print Operative
  • Functional Skills in Maths and English (Where required)
  • One day per month study offsite workplace with Learn2print

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Full time position within the company is available to the right candidate on completion of the Apprenticeship programme.
