What will the apprentice be doing?
Under the guidance of the EY Practitioner, the successful candidate will be involved in working with individuals or small groups of children to support their education and their personal and social development.
Duties include:
-Developing the varying skills that support pupils' learning
-Producing learning resources
-Assist in pupil supervision
-Support in monitoring and recording pupil progress
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Full Induction and safeguarding training. Training to support Early reading and phonics. Observations of good practice. The Apprentice will work towards completing a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship working with both the college and working with the team in the setting.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The candidate will be expected to complete the apprenticeship framework, Early Years Educator Level 3. They will have gained invaluable experience and completed a wide range of training.
