Job Description

The successful applicant will support and work alongside the administrative team, assisting with all aspects of reception and general office duties, including post room and reprographics. Setting up meetings, room bookings, refreshments and diary management. Ordering stationery and archiving documents using Microsoft packages.


What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To include reception duties, greeting and signing in visitors, answering telephone calls, typing, filing, photocopying and general office duties
  • Set up meetings which includes room booking, refreshments and diary management
  • Deliver, sort and retrieve daily post for the academy
  • Assist with the archive procedure and process and maintaining and ordering stationery stock
  • Support members of the leadership, teaching and support with general administrative work which includes the use of all Microsoft packages

  • Level 1/2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Workshops located in Lincoln, typically held once a month.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The apprentice will leave with a set of transferrable skills to be equipped to take on the next level role in any busy office environment. Could lead to possible employment within the Trust.
