Job Description

You will provide administrative support to colleagues. This will involve following office procedures and having responsibility for specific tasks. You will also develop stakeholder relationships to ensure orders are received and delivered on time.


What will the apprentice be doing?

You must be highly organised and aspire to be key to the smooth running of the company.
You will provide both clerical and administrative support to colleagues. This will involve the coordination and implementation of office procedures and frequently have responsibility for specific projects and tasks.
The role requires both written and oral communication, word processing and typing, and requires relevant skills such as IT, organisational and presentation skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
As an administrator, you'll need to:
Use a word processing package such as Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP.
Write letters.
Deal with telephone and email enquiries, using an email system (e.g., Outlook)
Photocopy and print various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues
Organise and store paperwork, documents, and computer-based information
Create and maintain filing and other office systems

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, the applicant will become a strong member of the administration team, supporting various departments to ensure that stakeholders are kept informed. The applicant will also develop supplier and customer relationships to ensure orders are received and delivered on time..
