Opportunity for applicants passionate about early years childcare to develop their skills, knowledge and experience in an ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED-rated nursery school.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Each day begins with staff readying the rooms and welcoming children in to explore resources, adult-led activities and child-initiated activities. Staff operate the room throughout the day, helping, teaching and assisting the children and following the daily routine of the setting.
Your role and responsibilities will include:

Educating, supervising and attending to the needs of young children (aged 2 – 5)
Tidying the room at the end of sessions
Making observations of children’s abilities and achievements (in line with the EYFS)
Creating and/or carrying out activities that stimulate the minds of the children.
Assisting with the daily routine and day-to-day operation of the room they are placed to work in.
You can expect:

A ten-minute walk from Kingsbury Tube Station (Jubilee Line).
Onsite parking.
Buses from and to Sudbury Town Station, Pinner, Harrow and Brent Cross all within a few minutes walk of the nursery school.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification will be achieved after this 12 month apprenticeship.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon the completion of the Level 2 course, applicants will be qualified to work with children and can work towards achieving their Level 3.
Upon the completion of the Level 3 course, applicants will be qualified to open their own setting and manage it after having two years working experience.
