Easton Farm are a mixed competition and livery yard based on the edge of the Marlborough Downs. They usually have about 20 horses of mixed abilities from those who just hack to intermediate event horses. It is a busy, friendly yard with lots of opportunities to learn and develop.

They are looking for someone who would like to learn, is reliable, has lots of energy and who is trustworthy - Attitude is more important than experience!
Duties will include;
- Mucking out
- Turning out/bringing in
- Tack cleaning
- Tacking up
- Feeding
- Filling hay nets
- Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming if possible
- Bathing
- Rug changing
- Riding
- First aid
- Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, long reining, pessoa training etc.)
- Holding for vet/farrier/dentist
Future Prospects
- Possibility of going on to Level 3 Senior Groom
Skills Required
- Some Horse Care experience would be beneficial

- Ability to complete Functional Skills at Level 1 or higher
Training Provided
- Equine Groom Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- Full Apprenticeship training provided by Haddon Training
