Responsibilities
As the Early Years Practitioner Apprentice your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Looking after small groups of children of about 3
- Helping them with activities
- Working with other staff and all the children, going for walks
- Overall making sure children are always safe and well looked after

- While with us we are happy for you to further your development with going onto a level 3 and so on, we are happy to help you look into funding for any courses

Skills Required
- Be creative: We do a lot of crafts etc. and displays so input with these would be helpful
Qualities Required
- Be caring: We care for children from 7 months-4 years old, so you need to be nurturing
- Be punctual: We cannot have anyone being late due to ratio of adult: child
- Be confident: knowing what you are doing and being confident to do it
Qualifications Required
- First aid in paediatric (this will be arranged by the employer for the successful candidate to undertake prior to starting)
- GCSE's grade 4/C or above or equivalent in English and maths are preferred but not essential
