What will the apprentice be doing?
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, friendly individual to join the busy Credit Team. The team manages credit from vetting through to debt recovery for all of Radius' current and growing portfolio of regulated products.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to our wider credit teams. You will work closely with other departments such as credit collections and credit vetting, to delivery credit information to support these areas. You will help to review sales ledgers and ensure cash receipts are delivered on time. If you have an interest in numbers and finance, then this would be a great stepping stone for you to pursue a career in this area.
Typical duties will include:
- Delivering cash receipting
- Recoveries administration and contacting outsource partners
- Reviewing the sales ledger
- Posting payments onto financial systems
- Providing support to offices by updating bank details, deposits and refunds
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 2 Accounts & Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional Skills Level 2 maths (if required)
- Functional Skills Level 2 English (if required)
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
There is a full-time job available once the apprenticeship has been completed. Additionally, any vacancies within our global group are advertised internally, giving apprentices the opportunity to further their career. This will include secondment opportunities overseas.
At Radius there is plenty of progression and development opportunities. Whilst we work with you on your development plan, it is entirely up to you where you would like to take your career. Whether this be to work towards a management role, specialise in a certain field or credit or expand into another area of the business, such as finance. We will work with you and help you develop the skills to get there.
