What will the apprentice be doing?
Your role is split into 2 parts.
Part 1 is to Learn To Make People Look and Feel Fantastic.
Learn, Practice and Master the skills required to:-
Cut, Colour and Style hair.
Learn how to communicate with anybody & everyone.
Part 2 is to Assits Stylists in Making People Look and Feel Fantastic.
Look after & Manage the enviroment of the salon to ensure client comfort.
Support stylists with clients by shampooing, applying colour etc.
You will be fully trained, supported & coached as you progress.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Your aim is to qualify with an NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing then follow on to do NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing.
All training is undertaken in-salon, during day to day hours learning hands on as you work and during dedicated training sessions once a week.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once you have qualified and reached salon standard you will have a chair available on the salon floor where you can build a client base and increase your earings.
From this point you can just enjoy being an amazing hairdresser for a while or you can start looking at your next career progrerssion. This could be going into session work doing photoshoots for example, or you may want to teach hairdressing, or maybe you want to learn managment and open your own salon.
