Job Description

We are looking for a high calibre, articulate individual who is looking for an opportunity to commence a legal career. The purpose of this role is to provide legal admin assistance support to a busy team of Residential fee earners ensuring that an excellent client experience is delivered.


Providing legal support to a busy team of fee earners, the successful candidate will be highly organised and an excellent communicator with the ability to deliver a first class client experience. The role will involve:

  • Processing new instructions received onto our legal database
  • Dealing with incoming calls and preparing welcome packs for clients/solicitors
  • Conducting searches with the Land Registry
  • Filing and archiving duties including dealing with incoming postal activities
  • Assisting with the preparation of contracts and other legal documentation
  • General office administration duties
  • Adhering to compliance requirements including various regulatory and governing bodies, the firm’s policies, practices & procedures, applicable legislation and any relevant quality

  • Progression to the Paralegal apprenticeship

Reality Check

  • £13,000
  • Monday/Friday 9am-5pm
  • 25 days holiday rising 1 day per year's service to maximum 30 days
  • Extra day holiday at Christmas and Birthday

Skills Required

  • IT Skills, experience of using Microsoft Office
  • Ideally some office experience

Qualifications Required

  • 5 GCSE or equivalent passes A-C or grade 4 and above including maths & English
  • A Levels or equivalent
  • A real desire to develop a career in law

Training Provided

  • Business Administration Level 3 with Legal Pathways
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in maths, English and ICT.
