Job Description

Exciting opportunity to start your professional career at a boutique Leeds city centre based law firm specialising in the sports, media and communications industry. Joining a growing and dedicated team you will provide legal administration support to assist with the smooth day to day running of the office.


Main responsibilities will include:

  • Meet and greet clients
  • Collect post
  • Deal with queries over the telephone and take messages
  • Ensure all files are kept neat and tidy, maintain and update electronic files
  • Carry out general administrative duties in accordance with the firm’s procedures including photocopying, filing, faxes, opening files, archiving and preparation of invoices
  • Personally deliver documents to court/chambers/clients
  • Provide administrative support in maintaining the firm’s Office Manual
  • Production of spreadsheets to enter, edit and organise numerical and other data
  • Use of word processing software to format and present high-quality documents
  • Organisation of business travel and accommodation
  • Coordination of the planning and organisation of meetings
  • Recording and monitoring of stationery costs
  • Attendance at meetings
  • Champion administrative processes
  • Any other administrative tasks as requested

Skills Required

  • Strong communication skills – face to face and on telephone
  • Computer literate with at least average skills in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and the internet

Qualifications Required

  • A minimum of 5 or more GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent)
  • A Levels at Grades A-C (or equivalent) are preferable

Training Provided

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
