Job Description

As a Legal Administration Apprentice at Level 3, you will be directly supporting the solicitors and staff at the Reading office. Dealing with many aspects of legal administration and working as part of a professional legal team to provide the best possible service to clients.


Working within the New Build team, you will be providing key support to both solicitors and staff.

Typical duties will include:

  • Administration of legal files
  • To support the team with administrative tasks and action work as delegated by supervisor
  • Provide telephone support and deal with client queries
  • Opening files
  • Ensure work issues or problems are reported immediately
  • File closing
  • Any other tasks required to support the team or requested by management
  • Deal with all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Photocopying and copying bundles
  • Archiving and retrieval of files

Future Prospects

If appropriate for apprentice and employer, there is the possibility for a long-term future within this established and growing firm.

Reality Check

Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm. One hour lunch. £14,000 p/a.

  • Previous work experience involving dealing with people is useful but not essential

Qualifications Required
