Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join our outstanding team to support the delivery of work experience programmes across the The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. Standard - Learning and Development Practitioner Level 3 Duration - 21 Months Training to take place in Wolverhampton


What will the apprentice be doing?

As an apprentice you will work towards the following:

Achieving an apprentice standard (Key Skills, Certificate/Diploma and Technical Certificate) within the specified time frame. 

Attend all the training sessions for the programme whenever necessary. 

Undertake any necessary homework during the length of the course.

Supporting the NHS Futures Trainers in designing and delivering all of the work experience programmes run within RWT.

Providing support and advice to managers within the trust on all aspects of work experience processes and to liaise with own and other departments as appropriate.

Developing work experience opportunities offered by RWT and secure income streams for projects that can be delivered by the NHS Futures Team.

Supporting the wider Corporate Learning Services team to develop your skills and knowledge as and when necessary.

An Apprentice is expected to expand and broaden their skills and abilities. Nonetheless, you will always operate under the direct supervision of a senior member of staff, unless operating according to agreed procedures that have been approved by the department.
