Job Description

The Land Entry team is a service provider within the Engineering and Construction arm of Wessex Water. The team facilitate entry on to all private land where we need to carry out work. You will provide technical administration support to the land entry team, as well as advice and assistance.


What will the apprentice be doing?

You will establish the ownership and occupation details of private land that will be affected by capital schemes by means of land registry searches, checking billing records, electoral rolls, internet searches and making direct contact with third parties. This information will then be collated and issued to the design engineer. 

You will be preparing statutory notices for service on all third parties where entry onto private land is required.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

On completion you will achieve a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

You’ll spend most of the week with us as your employer learning about business administration as you work, and go to College occasionally to learn the theoretical aspects of the role.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Become fully qualified on completion of your apprenticeship, with a potential permanent role.
