What will the apprentice be doing?
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in recruitment. This is a role with great progression opportunities where you will train on the job to become a skilled recruiter whilst gaining valuable experience in the recruitment and telecoms sector.
Working closely with the recruitment coordinator, you will be researching, identifying, attracting and shortlisting candidates for the recruitment process to fulfil the requirements of the business brief.
You will identify new business opportunities through a variety of means and refer these opportunities to the recruitment coordinator. In conjunction with this, you will complete any associated business administration needed to ensure records held are accurate, reliable and relevant.
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
- Sourcing Candidates on a daily basis
- Building database of ready to go candidates
- Working closely with HR/Managers to place candidates
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.
This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.
This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible. On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained. Level 3 Recruitment Consultant.
To successfully complete this Apprenticeship the apprentice will need to complete one level 3 knowledge qualification and one level 3 competency qualification as listed below:
- Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Recruitment or Level 3
- Certificate in Recruitment Practice
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Recruitment
- Apprentices without level 2 English, and maths will need to achieve this prior to taking the end point assessment
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon successful completion of the L3 Recruitment Consultant apprenticeship we would be looking to make this a full time permanent position with the possibility of completing L4 Recruitment Management qualification fully funded.
