Working at the forefront of vehicle technology, you will be supporting test developments to existing models, help build entirely new experimental concepts, contribute to the building of bespoke vehicles, assisting the launch of new models and maintaining the marketing fleet.
Opportunities exist in developing and testing chassis, body and electrical components so they meet the high requirements and expectations of our customers. You will develop a variety of knowledge, skills and business behaviours such as teamworking and problem solving, so that you can play your part in the product creation of our next generation of vehicles.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You’ll undertake a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship under standards approved by the IfA (Institute for Apprenticeships). This exciting programme will develop your practical skills and cultivate the knowledge you need for your role. This is all achieved whilst developing your knowledge, skills and business behaviours such as teamworking and problem-solving. A network of Work Based Learning Managers and line managers will regularly review your progress and provide support, advice and guidance along the way, to enable you to perform at your best.
Together with invaluable commercial and practical experience, you’ll gain several academic and vocational qualifications throughout your time with us, which are fully paid for, including:
- Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
- Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence)
- Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge).
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll need Maths GCSE and English Language GCSE Grade C/level 4 or above.
In addition, you will need three further GCSE’s including a Science, Engineering or Technology at Grade c/level 4 or above, or as an alternative, Engineering Vocational qualification Level 3 of 90 credit value (540 GLH).
