Job Description

We design and build network infrastructures and provide IT support services to small and medium companies across the UK. We use a range of technologies from Microsoft, Webroot, VMware, TP-Link Ubiquiti, and HP to name a few.

As we continue to grow as a company, we are looking to expand our internal staff count. We are looking for someone to join our helpdesk team.


We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an IT systems and networking - Azure Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Logging calls coming into the company via email/telephone, and if possible, resolving those calls via remote login capabilities, or arranging an onsite visit.

If a particular problem cannot be solved quickly and effectively, then the candidate would be expected to pass it onto a senior colleague.

  • Network troubleshooting – DNS/TCP-IP/DHCP
  • Familiarity with basic network troubleshooting, including setting up WIFI hotspots, diagnosing speed and broadband issues, replacing routers, creating network cables

  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, obtain information, and provide solutions for a good range of technical problems
  • Able to understand the importance of good customer service and lead by example
  • An understanding of how downtime can affect the various departments within a business
  • An understanding of how to document their troubleshooting and diagnostic steps to outline the faster resolution of future scenarios

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.


  • 20 days holiday, plus bank hols.
  • Extra day holiday for 5 years’ service and additional day every year thereafter


  • Out-of-hours on-call rota after successful probation period (3 months)
