Job Description

If you’re keen to become an ICT Support Technician, you’re in luck! ZEISS are on the hunt for their next apprentice to support their tech team providing first and second-line technical support to colleagues across the company.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Logging of support calls using the ZEISS helpdesk system
  • Provide first and second line technical support to colleagues (local and remote)
  • Installing Software
  • Liaison with internal and external support organisations
  • Support the Senior Support Analyst with IT infrastructure

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Once you have passed the level 3 qualification you have the option to complete a Level 4 apprenticeship.

Reality Check

23 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays). Regular team social events. Onsite parking and local public transport links. Offer CBT nuggets to complete courses such as CCNA after 7 months of employment.
