Job Description

Are you an aspiring IT Support professional looking to begin your career with an apprenticeship? If so, please read on.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Logging, troubleshooting, and analysing IT issues
  • Monitoring client servers
  • Using email, teams, and telephone to communicate with users
  • Connecting laptops, phones, desktops to the Wi-Fi network, as well as the cloud service
  • Working with the network team to configure routers, virtual machines, desktop computers, and servers
  • Configuring Microsoft365, computer and server operating systems

Future Prospects

  • There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the program. You, along with your employer, may decide to progress into a full-time position with the business or progress onto a Level 4 Apprenticeship

Reality Check

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
