Job Description

Joining the team as IT Support Engineer Apprentice, you will be based at the Head Office of Partnering Health in Whiteley. You will be assisting end users and healthcare SME customers when required. Additionally, you will be providing IT support to the company’s remote offices across Hampshire.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

As an IT Support Engineer Apprentice, you will be:

  • Providing 1st to 2nd line technical support to end users
  • Troubleshooting and repair any hardware and software
  • Resolving software and application issues
  • Completing documentation and quick step deployment guides
  • Providing appropriate support to staff using new technologies

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Full training towards L3 Support Technician will be provided. You will complete a 22 month apprenticeship which includes 17 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Progression opportunity upon completion of the apprenticeship.
