We currently recruiting for an IT Support Apprentice for a 2-year placement that will spend their time throughout the apprenticeship based in Angel, Islington, but with the opportunity to travel to other venues or offices. You'll be working within the Salesforce team and closely with key technology and business professionals across the UK.


You will be expected to support the existing Salesforce deployments as well as assist the Senior Salesforce Admins and Engineers in supporting the system. 

Main responsibilities: 

  • To present a professional contact point to receive and prioritise requests for assistance from internal customers, ensuring they are dealt with in a pleasant and efficient manner 
  • To log all support cases, escalating if necessary, and keeping customer informed of updates 
  • Day-to-day administration and support of business’ Salesforce solutions including managing multiple user maintenance, profiles and roles, customisation of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations within the Salesforce application 
  • To carry out daily tasks according to the agreed procedure, and according to the shift rota 
  • To complete individual learning records as required by the Apprenticeship provider on time, and to a good standard  

Future Prospects

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship.  Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education. 
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of 4 or higher GCSE’s or equivalent (including maths and English) 

Training Provided

  • Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Standard
  • Functional Skills in maths and English if required

Approximately 11% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 9% is done in the workplace, through online training, face-to-face meetings with your QA Technical Skills Coach, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
