Job Description

This apprenticeship is guaranteed to support you in your next steps into the IT industry! As part of the IT team, you will support all end users with any IT requirements and support users and clients across all sites. Activities will include issuing new hardware, training, and being first-line support.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Provide first-line support via the company helpdesk
  • Working on the ticketing system to process, manage and track issues
  • Support end users with IT issues
  • Perform password re-sets
  • Fixing and maintaining hardware such as computers, laptops, iPads, servers, switches, routers

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

The successful candidate will complete the following units:

Course 1: Supporting IT Architecture

Course 2: Working with End-User Devices

Course 3: Working with Network Architecture

Upon completing of a level 3 the successful candidate could move onto the level 4 apprenticeships
